EDUCATE YOURSELF!
The last two marches in May 07 and May 08 are considered a big success by all involved. Weather wasn't great, but still the turn-out was! About 1000 people took part. There was a great buzz at it, really energetic, colorful and no trouble at all.
A picture paints a thousand words, so check out the pictures!
Believe it or not there actually is a movement to legalise cannabis in Ireland and it's growing fast.
We don't expect to achieve it in the next year or two, but we do expect to achieve it someday and it's gonna be some laugh along the way!!
Spread the good word, tell all the tokers ya know!
Education is Key! Contact us about anything to do with cannabis or if you'd like to get involved with our group.

Legalise Cannabis Ireland says: "Anyone going to Life-Festival this weekend? Come find us at the Fun-Guy shop, Be good Buds!" (20 weeks ago) me too!The Other Half Of Me | | Principles... | | We believe the use of cannabis ought to be a matter of choice and not of law. The prohibition of cannabis inhibits the use of a beneficial resource and has not worked in it's aim of combating criminal gangs and. It has in fact made these vicious gangs a lot more powerful and a huge danger to society. The legalisation of cannabis is a very important step that should be taken to benefit the people and their environment. | | | Aims | | To achieve the full legalisation and utilisation of the cannabis plant for the good of the people, on a local, national and international level. To encourage extensive research into the many beneficial uses of cannabis including industrial, social and medical uses for the good of the people. To end all criminal prosecutions for the use of cannabis as a social or private relaxant. To provide a voice for those in society persecuted and prosecuted for cannabis activities that victimise none.
PROHIBITION DOES NOT WORK AND NEVER HAS! | | | Young Toker's!! | | We do not believe in promoting use of cannabis to anyone, cannabis use is an individual decision that should be made after educating oneself about benefits and risks, but particularly to people with young minds/brains that are not fully developed and may be at higher risk to negative effects of psychoactive substances. However wrong or right, it is fact that people (including young people) use and abuse cannabis. Therefore we believe it is better to try and educate people, about the dangers and risks involved and hope they make the right decision for themselves | | | First Irish Coffee Shop! | | The First Coffee Shop's in Holland, were not opened because it was made legal, they were opened because it wasn't!
People who believed in Cannabis Freedom&were willing to go to jail for it did just that. They opened up, got locked up, got out, opened straight back up again!!

3 weeks agoOn the 12th of November, Pluggedin.ie and WIT are proud to present
Legalise Cannabis Ireland v W.I.T law society
in a debate about our current weed laws.
It takes place at 19:30 at the Gallery in the W.I.T
RTE and TV3 and other national and local media are going to cover the event and there are guest speakers and TDs and stuff attending.
We need pro weed people down to support the night.
There is a strong movement behind changing the current weed laws and in a recent survey in the Sunday Times it was found that 64% of Irish wish for them to be changed.
So hope to see ya down there in a bid for the pro weed voice to be heard at a national level!!
